Cali Hindes and Gabbie Weber attended the Jourdanton Rotary Club meeting today. These two JHS Juniors were selected and sponsored by the Rotary to attend the RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) at John Newcombe Tennis Ranch near New Braunfels. They had a great time, met many friends and hope to go back next year as a camp leader.

National School Counseling Week, sponsored by ASCA, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. National School Counseling Week is always celebrated the first full week in February.

Learning all about Force and Motion in Ms Woodwards class! Students researched, built plans, and created their own catapult. The goal was to create a catapult that would send an object 15ft. Thank you Ms Woodward for making science so fun!

Last night Jourdanton Girls took First Place as a team at their first Powerlifting Meet of the year.
With Gabby Padilla place 5th, Liberty Harland finished 4th, Faith Bernie placed 3rd, Bella DeLeon Placed 2nd
First Place Finishers were Gracie Sanchez, Rayven Van Heeswyk, Lauren Wells, and Miriam Bocanegra.
Earning the award for BEST LIFTER was Rayven Van Heeswyk.
Great job to all our young ladies who competed.
