JISD fifth grade students learned about the Electoral College process in Social Studies classes and voted on Monday, November 4 in a mock election. Everyone who voted received a sticker similar to those distributed at certified polling places in Texas. Thanks to all fifth-grade teachers for making this happen!

Tonight is the night! Boo-k Fest starts at 5:00pm. We will have Trunk or Treat in front of the Elementary/Jr High in the parking lot. Pizza will be hosted in the ECC Cafeteria. Bookfair and Read alongs will be happening as well! Wear your best costume and come join us!

Veteran's Day Program
Jourdanton ISD would like to invite all Veteran's to our annual Veteran's Day Program on Monday, November 11th, at 9:00am in the Jourdanton High School gym. The program will be put on by grades Pre-K through fifth grade as well as junior high and high school students. All Veterans who need to park close can drive up to the Jr. High gym and go through the gate entrance to the visitor side of the football field. There will be someone who will let you into this designated parking lot. All parents and family are invited to attend this program as well. Parents are asked to park on the HOME side of the football field and walk through the football field gate to the High School gym. Veterans are invited to stay and enjoy a meal after the program.
