JHS seniors Logan Chansley, Heidi Mendoza, Annie Netardus, and Caden Schulte received scholarships at Aggie Muster April 21, 2025. Congratulations!

Mrs. Glenn’s 7th grade students participated in a nature-themed literary scavenger hunt where they created figurative language examples and used vivid detail to describe the natural elements they discovered.

Last week, the 8th grade students in Mrs. Fair’s and Ms. Divin’s classes presented their debate projects/argumentative essays and did a great job! Two weeks ago, students were put into partners, picked a topic at random from a "hat", and developed a plan. They researched their sides of the topic and composed research essays with documentation. Students also created slide shows to present as they gave their speeches and debated their topics.

The Jourdanton Varsity Color Guard took home the gold medal by placing first in their class at the Texas Educational Colorguard Association State Championships on Saturday, April 12 at O’Connor High School. The varsity guard achieved a season high score of 84.825. The Jourdan Cadet Color Guard also performed at the state championships and was in 5th place with a season high score of 80.565. Congratulations to all of our color guard students on a great season!
