April 11th, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm – In conjunction with the Special Olympic Track and Field event in Poteet (at their football field), we will be hosting a community resource fair. TX Workforce, along with Social Security, Camino Real IDD, A&M San Antonio Tu Casa, MAC (Morgan’s Wonderland), Alamo Regional Transit, Jamie’s Ranch, ARC of San Antonio, and possibly other agencies, will all be in attendance to provide information to our students and parents on a come and go basis. April 11, 6:00 pm – Jourdanton is hosting a TX Workforce parent information session, and has graciously offered to allow us to invite all of our Atascosa County schools’ students and parents. Mr. Steven Martinez, our TX Workforce counselor, will be presenting information about the services available to our students (ages 14 and above) as they prepare for their future employment.
